As I said before in my “new years resolutions” post, I’ve been trying to work on my sleeping schedule. And whenever I find a few things that work for me, I like to share them with you!

listening to instrumentals/mellow music. I listen to instrumentals when I’m working, because it’s very calming and it keeps me focused. And listening to soft music before bed helps alot, to create a softer, calmer atmosphere.

tea. Drink tea before bed!  I love green tea, that’s the one I usually drink at nights and in the mornings. It’s really calming, and if you don’t like tea maybe try a warm drink, but just NOT coffee.

guided meditation. Okay this one personally didn’t work for me, but I’ve heard that it works for a lot of people so I still wanted to share it. Guided mediations help with a lot of things, like anxiety, stress, and of course sleep. Podcasts also work well too, I would definitely try them if you like guided meditation. melatonin. Melatonin is a supplement that helps to maintain a normal sleep pattern. I don’t take this every night, however I used to when I first started taking it about a month and a half ago. It comes in a few forms, I personally use drops. Read more about melatonin here.
