30 WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF-CARE

There are many things I would like to accomplish with my blog, most of those things are in relation to beauty and fitness. But a major goal of mine is to give all of you an outlet, a place to go and find posts to help you in every aspect of your life. Practicing self-care can be very difficult at times, but it’s an essential part of maintaining a good mental health, and I want to help all of you in doing so. So here’s my list of 30 ways to practice self-care for the mind and body, I hope at least a few apply to you!

Body:

  • yoga, to relieve stress
  • go for a short hike
  • go for a bike ride
  • drink more water
  • get a massage or manicure
  • go for a walk
  • dance!!
  • drink herbal tea
  • cook your favorite food
  • eat a meal outside
  • take a bath, and listen to this playlist while doing so
  • put on a face mask

Mind:

  • take a break from social media for a few hours
  • listen to music
  • light a candle
  • write a short story or poem
  • painting
  • mindfulness breathing
  • sleep in for a day
  • diffuse essential oils/aromatherapy
  • create a vision board
  • make a to-do list
  • learn a phrase or two in a new language
  • read a book
  • draw in an adult coloring book
  • listen to a podcast
  • read your favorite blog
  • create a reverse bucket list!
  • say positive affirmations
  • write a few short-term goals
